Nice relaxed evening time in a coffee shop, our daily ritual where we share the highlights of our day, unwind and chit chat. On our way home, we picked some grocery from a regular store on a busy road. Suddenly, when my husband realised at the time of payment that his wallet is missing. Checked in car, coffee shops and at all the insignificant stops we had in-between only to realise that it is finally lost with all the cards, identity proofs and cash.
After spontaneous stress reaction, I fall back on my dependable ritual of praying whenever I am stuck. Standing by the car, in the hustle n bustle of people I prayed to my loving angels that the wallet reaches in the hands of a good person who does not misuse the cards and identity proofs. As we reached home, we immediately blocked all the cards, planned how we can get a copy of our lost identity proofs and me silently praying in my heart for divine intervention.
Amidst our efforts to manage the situation to our best, around 9 pm in the evening my husband receives a call from an unknown number. A person introduced himself and said that he has found a wallet in the middle of the road which seems to be belonging to him and he will like to return it tomorrow. As my husband could not believe the honesty of this person, in my heart I was amazed by the mystical work of angels and the immediate help they provided us.
Next evening, we were waiting to meet this person, he comes on a bike and takes out a well-covered wallet, which was kept safely to be returned. Yes, we finally found the wallet with all the cash, cards and identity proofs intact. This person was modest in his appearance, but par excellence in his values and integrity.
As we thanked him for his help and were about to say bye, he says “I am thankful to angels that I met you people as I was praying since yesterday that to be able to return this wallet to right people.” Suddenly all dots in my head were connected. In my heart, I expressed gratitude for divine support. I was completely mesmerised by divine timings and divine ways. An experience of hope, integrity, faith in goodness and surely mystical angelic support.
